The pain in my foot has increased to an occasional sharp stabbing when I walk. There’s no visible bruise or swelling as of yet.
I just have to make it through the showcase tomorrow (this is not stopping me from dancing) and then if it’s still bothering me on Monday I’ll go to UHS and see what it is.
Anyone have good stretches to relieve/prevent?

Honestly, anyone who is not a “famous” dancer. Every single dancer I have ever watched, regardless of the level they were at, had something special and unique about their dancing. Every dancer is accomplished just in the fact that they get up on stage and compete or perform. Every dancer faces obstacles and continues to go back, not letting their “failures” kick them and keep them down. Every dancer, including the “famous” ones, has an inspiring story if you are willing to listen.

Yes I’ve thought this would be a great idea for such a long time 🙌 someone once posted on the Voy boards that it would be great for majors since international travel is expensive enough without hotel fees and such, and people ripped them apart. It makes me sad because this is an incredible idea! We always talk about how amazing the ID community is and this would be such a great thing to do for each other and build even more bonds. I did a program with my high school where you stayed with a family in another state for a few days just to see how life differs throughout the country and family to family. Then you’d host the person. The memories were awesome! I’d love to see this in Irish dancing. Even if this didn’t become an official thing, all tumblr dancers are welcome to come stay with me if you want to take advantage of any of the million Northeast feiseanna!
For the Celtic Fling feis I may not have a dress. I haven’t saved up the cash for my solo and my school dress is on its last legs. Does anyone think it would be weird/problematic if I just wore a black dance skirt and some nice blousey top?
